TEST EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS COMMAND DESTRUCT SYSTEM,

Abstract

The Airborne Command Destruct System is an Emergency Flight Termination System designed to be used in conjunction with the Radio Tracking System. The Radio Tracking System continuously monitors the missile flight trajectory during powered flight and if the missile varies from it's predetermined path, the Range Safety Officer will initiate the Destruct Command from the AFMTC UHF transmitter.
