DEVELOPMENT OF LOW NOISE TRAVELING-WAVE TUBES. PHASE III: ENVIRONMENTALIZATION.

Abstract

Life and environmental testing on the X-band tubes, was continued. Environmental tests on the C-band tube, were completed. Three S-band tubes were subjected to the low-temperature environmental testing. Modifications to the L-band helix did not advance sufficiently to permit any definitive testing to be done. Final solution of the pin match problem was not achieved. (Author)
