RESEARCHES OF WHISTLER PHENOMENA.

Abstract

Analysis was carried out of relations between lightning discharges and musical atmospherics of usual whistler type and of unusual forms. Recording cathode-ray oscillographs were used for analysis of the relations. Cathode-ray oscillographic direction finders placed at two stations at suitable distances allowed determination of the sources of the lightning discharges in relation to musical atmospherics.
