INTERLAMINAR SHEAR OF FILAMENT-WOUND REINFORCED PLASTICS.

Abstract

The work in this program is divided into two phases. The first phase involves the screening of several potential methods of improving interlaminar shear strength. The test specimens for this portion of the work will be a filamentwound ring. The second phase will be the fabrication, testing and evaluation of cylindrical test specimens. These specimens will be tested for ultimate and fatigue in the circumferential direction. The details of the program are presented. No results have been obtained. (Author)
