EVALUATION OF METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF PARTICLE SIZE OF DRY CHEMICAL FIRE EXTINGUISHING AGENTS,

Abstract

A comparison of methods for determining particle size of dry chemical fire extinguishing agents is reported. Two methods were evaluated, the specific surface area using the Blaine Air Permeability Fineness Tester and the sub-screen particle size analysis method using the Roller Particle Size Analyzer.
