VEHICLE SCALING AND PERFORMANCE COMPUTOR PROGRAM,

Abstract

This program provides a technique for weight scaling, dimensional scaling, and preliminary performance analysis of multistage liquid rocket vehicles with a minimum of input. The intention is to provide 1) an acceptable approximation for overall size and weight and not to attempt a component by component analysis, and 2) ideal velocity increment vs payload data rather than a detailed trajectory analysis. The equations used are presented and a complete FORTRAN listing of the program written for an IBM 7094 is included. (Author)
