CONTINUATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE AN/DMQ-9 ROCKETSONDE.

Abstract

The continued development of the AN/DMQ-9 Rocket Instrument Package is described. Included is a discussion of laboratory investigations of 1680 megacycle antennas, blocking oscillator circuits and spin and acceleration effects on the instrument package. Flight test performance is presented. It is concluded that the AN/DMQ-9 rocketsonde has been well advanced toward becoming an operational instrument as a result of this effort. (Author)
