TRANSIENT RADIATION EFFECTS INSTRUMENTATION TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

The successful performance of the test program required the use of special irradiation facilities, the development of reliable and efficient operational methods, the design of test circuitry and equipment which would be effective in the radiation environment or resistant to the environment, the elimination of signal perturbation due to transmission, the assurance of consistency and valid correlation between measurements, and the efficient and accurate processing of test data. A description is given of generally-applicable techniques for transient radiation effects testing and data analysis, resulting from the execution of the test program, and the evaluation of these techniques.
