DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF THREE-WATT KU-BAND TRAVELING-WAVE TUBE.

Abstract

Efforts were continued on the development of a 3 watt Ku-Band periodic-permanent-magnetfocused traveling-wave tube. Emphasis was placed on the development of a temperaturecompensated oriented barium ferrite PPM focusing structure. There was also a redesign of the cathode support structure to permit the use of a 6.3-Vac heater supply. (Author)
