STANDARDIZATION HANDBOOK ROLLING BEARINGS. VOLUME TWO. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE.

Abstract

This handbook is a gude to the use and care of rolling bearings. It is a fundamental text, and is neither a comprehensive treatise nor a catalog. The material is presented in two volumes. Volume I is intended mainly for the machine designer and test engineer. Although the material in Volume II is most useful to shop personnel, it, too, is necessarily of interest to the machine designer, who should have the broadest possible knowledge of the factors influencing the design and performance of his product. The Appendix, which is common to each part, contains a brief bibliography for the benefit of those who wish to study those phases of rolling bearing technology which are secondary to the objectives of this handbook. Vol. I is AD-422 516. (Author)
