S-27 (ALOUETTE) SATELLITE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION AND WIRING,

Abstract

Presented is the physical configuration of the electronic systems together with the cabling and wiring of the Ionospheric Topside Sounder. Three systems were assembled, a prototype and two flight models. One model was launched on 28 September, 1962. For identification pruposes this then became known as the Alouette I, 1962 Beta Alpha I satellite. (Author)
