STUDY OF SPECIAL LITHIUM BASED AND NICKEL BASED FERRITES IN VIEW OF THE REALIZATION OF HIGH MICRO Q PRODUCTS FOR THE FREQUENCY RANGE FROM 30 TO 200 MC/S.

Abstract

Some twenty series (each consisting of some ten compounds) of lithium or nickel based ferrites were prepared. These series include various substitutions of Fe ions by Al ions with a view to reducing the saturation moment. Appropriate proportions of Mn ions were allowed for with a view to obtaining various resistivities. Additions of Co ions were also made in an attempt to modify anisotropic properties. Various heat treatments secured grains of different sizes. Results obtained: (1) Reduction of magnetic moment appeared as a variation of micro prime at low frequency and acted on the lower frequency at which magnetic losses occur, and on the behaviour of the product micro Q at high frequencies. (2) Addition of Co ions was beneficial. (3) Heat treatment affects on grain size and on initial permeability were evident. (Author)
