Abstract
This presentation for Project LIGHTNING is divided into two sections. Section I summarizes and reports technical details of the operations life testing phase of the major subsystem produced during Phase IIIB. Section II summarizes Phases II and III. The research study was directed towards specific high-speed logic and memory circuitry. Section II presents the activities pursued during the four-year period. Technical details may be obtained from the references which appear throughout the text. Section II is subdivided into seven chapters: a Summary, and six chapters covering research in the areas of Logic Circuits, Memory Circuits, Fabrication, System Organization, Instrumentation, and Devices.
