AXIALLY SYMMETRIC HETEROGENEOUS MIXING,

Abstract

Heterogeneous mixing is considered. Numerical methods are used to investigate the importance of simplifying assumptions usually introduced in the analysis of laminar mixing. Experiments on turbulent mixing are analyzed in order to obtain information on turbulent transport properties. (Author)
