PRACTICAL NUMERICAL METHODS OF THREE-DIMENSIONAL SUPERSONIC FLOWS.

Abstract

Two new difference methods for the numerical solution of initial value problems in quasilinear partial differential equations were developed. One of these methods is applied to problems of the propagation of non-linear pressure waves. Some other investigations now under way, concerning questions in quasilinear equations are briefly discussed. (Author)
