JAVELIN DOVAP ANTENNA SYSTEM,

Abstract

The preliminary attempts to develop a Dovap antenna system for the Argo D-4 or Javelin sounding rocket are described. The method of constructing the system and the technique of mounting the elements to the exterior surface of a fiberglass rocket motor case are presented. Descriptions of the static firing tests and the conclusions drawn from the results of these tests are given. (Author)
