REMOTE SENSING OF ENVIRONMENT.

Abstract

The results of a preliminary survey of the needs and potential for remote sensing of environment are presented. The report discusses the current status of remote sensing and the potential for new research in the field; modern sensor technology; and the problems that limit expansion in the field. A classified supplement (Report Number 4864-6-F sub 1) will present pictorial data and sensor specifications. (Author)
