THERMAL STABILITY OF HEAT-RESISTANT ALLOYS. (TERMOSTOYKOST' ZHAROPROCHNYKH SPLAVOV),

Abstract

This collection of articles is a review of the methods for investigating the thermal stability of heat-resistant alloys. Special attention is devoted to procedures permitting not only a qualitative but also a quantitative evaluation of the thermal stability of materials subjected to heat treatment at high temperatures. The relation between thermal stability and the mechanical and physical properties of alloys is studied. The book is intended for scientists and engineers engaged in researches directed at increasing the resistivity of engine parts and units to repeated heating and cooling. (Author)
