SEA WATER SOUND SPEEDS EXPRESSED IN ENGLISH UNITS,
Abstract
Tables for the speed of sound in sea water were calculated in the English system of units from Wilson's equation. The speed of sound can be determined with these tables to one foot per second; or to three feet per second with the use of the nomogram. Diagrams of the temperature and salinity extremes in the ocean are included. (Author)
