CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STATE-OF-THE-ART OF TRANSIENT RADIATION EFFECTS IN ELECTRONIC PARTS AND MATERIALS, VOLUME 2.

Abstract

Presented is a series of experiments using shields to vary the neutron-to-gamma ratio of the Kukla spectrum in an attempt to determine the ionization efficiency of neutrons. Results were obtained using a mylar capacitor and coaxial cable which, when compared with theoretical prediction, tended to substantiate the predicted values of ionization which are calculated in Sec. I of this report. (Author)
