DIAL ORIENTATION AND PERSPECTIVE POINT COMPUTATION,

Abstract

This report presents a rigorous and general method for determining the spatial position of the center of projection in object space and the orientation of the optical axis using dial recordings. The technique is currently being used to reduce photogrammetric data from CZR camera operations at the Atlantic Missile Range and replaces earlier techniques which were neither as rigorous nor as general.
