HIGH-INTENSITY SOUND PROPAGATION.

Abstract

A program of basic research on high-intensity sound is described. A number of problems, both theoretical and experimental, were studied. In general, the emphasis was on the effect which viscosity and heat conduction have on periodic, finite-amplitude (high-intensity) waves. (Author)
