PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE 400MC, 300 MW POWER TRANSISTOR.
Abstract
Efforts were continued on the performance of production engineering, fabrication and testing of a 400mc, 300mw germanium power transistor. This device was registered with EIA as the 2N2568. Severe yield problems were much improved by a concentrated effort on the epitaxial process. Extensive work was done on a safe area pulse test and an oscillator circuit to further demonstrate the ruggedness and efficiency of the device. (Author)
