A SUPERPOSITION PRINCIPLE FOR A SYSTEM OF ANALYTIC ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS,

Abstract

Given a set of analytic differential equations Eta (t) = summation from i to lambda of=1 g sub i (Eta(t) t) with Eta (t sub o) = Eta sub o; it is then shown that if one knows the closed form solution Chi sub i (t) to the set of equations Chi sub i = g sub i (Chi sub i, t) for some of the i, it is possible to write a series expansion for Eta(t) which is a better approximating series than the Taylor series of Eta(t) about t=t sub o.
