The philosophy of normalization for different speakers is discussed and data for additional speakers are presented. These studies include the summaries of thousands of voicings of certain sounds by different speakers. What is believed to be a new approach to the detection of low frequency component of speech in the presence of noise is reported. Results are given of recording the fundamental frequency of speech obtained by the measurement of the frequency of modulation of a higher frequency band.
