Abstract

This manual was written to establish a standard of good practice for companies involved in the static testing of propellant rocket motors. Sections are presented on (1) personnel control, (2) static test firings, (3) environmental and special tests, (4) electrical safety, (5) mechanical safety, (6) chemical safety, (7) radiological safety, (8) protective equipment, (9) welding, and (10) ballistic facility design.
