COMBINED INTERIM DEVELOPMENT REPORT AND RESISTOR PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR NF RESISTOR FACTORIAL LOAD LIFE TEST.
Abstract
Presented is the performance of a factorial load life test on hermetically sealed, glass NF resistors. The results of this test are in the form of detailed load life performance data. Resistors of two rated power dissipating capabilities, .125 watt and .250 watt have been tested. In this factorial test, approximately 21,000 resistors have operated at combinations of temperatures of 70 C, l00 C, 125 C, and 150 C, and power dissipating levels of one time, two times, three times, four times, and five times their normally rated power for 2000 hours. In addition, 450 resistors have been tested for over 6000 hours and will continue to be under test up to 10,000 hours at 70 C under rated dissipating power. (Author)
