LOW-COST PERSONNEL DOSIMETER.

Abstract

The design and development are reported of a quartz-fiber low-cost dosimeter to meet OCD Specification CD V-742. Lower cost consistent with the specification was achieved by simplifying and improving the basic Bendix dosimeter design, using plastics for component parts, minimizing direct labor, and making the instrument suitable for automated processing and assembly.
