Abstract
Forecasting the occurrence of operationally critical values of ceilings and/or visibilities presents a major problem at Sioux City AFS. This investigation was conducted to develop objective aids for forecasting such critical values. The problem concerns the forecasting of ceilings and/or visibility less than 300/1 and less that 1500/3 during the months November through May. (Author)
