PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR A KA-BAND INVERTED COAXIAL MAGNETRON.

Abstract

A brief background description of coaxial and inverted coaxial magnetrons is presented. For this program, the principles of the inverted coaxial magnetron are being extended to a light weight, positively pulsed, tunable version intended for those applications requiring the minimum in size and weight but with superior life and reliability. The engineering problems associated with this approach are described along with the facilities required to perform the program. (Author)
