SOLID FILM LUBRICATED BEARING RESEARCH.

Abstract

During the second quarter of the solid film lubricated bearing research program, the bearing torque test rig was assembled to check for design discrepancies and, after finding no problems, the rig was instrumented for initial operational checks. Solid lubricant compact thermal expansion tests have been completed on five of the eight specimens. (Author)
