A POROUS SUBSTRATE RESISTOR AIMED AT MINIATURIZATION OF METAL-FILM RESISTORS.

Abstract

Feasibility of mechanically adjusting the resistance value of a porous substrate resistor is shown. Impregnation and encapsulation of the resistor, especially for the purpose of heat transfer, was investigated during the quarter and is reported herein. Wattage tests were performed on the three styles of resistors and the results were shown. (Author)
