SOME THEORETICAL PROBLEMS IN THE OPERATIONS OF A PHASEMETER ON ULTRA-HIGH FREQUENCIES,

Abstract

The operational precision of individual units of a serrodyne phasemeter on ultra-high frequencies (UHF) is examined from a theoretical viewpoint-Taken into consideration is the influence of the instability of the frequency of a klystron generator, the imperfection of the characteristics of a serrodyne method of frequency shift, the presence of standing waves in the wave guide, and the imperfection of amplitude limiters and phase detectors on the occurrence of parasitic phase incidents in high and low frequency channels of a phasemeter.
