SILYL-SUBSTITUTED CARBODIIMIDES,

Abstract

Nine bis-silyl-substituted carbodiimides of the types (R3SiN)2C, (RO3SiN2C, (R2R'SiN)2C and R3SiNCNSiR'3 were prepared for the first time. Their structure was established by N-NMR measurements, IR and RAMAN spectra. The reaction of disilver cyanimide and diorganochlorosilanes leads to sila-polycarbodiimides, the physical and chemical properties of which are reported. (Author)
