DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELECTRON BEAM DUPLEXER.

Abstract

Research concerns development of an S-band electron beam duplexer. The first S-band device was tested for dip and power saturation. No unforeseen difficulties were encountered. A discussion is given of the test results from the first Sband device which served as a guide for producing the second S-band device. The testing of the second S-band device will be conducted along with the completion of high power testing of the first S-band device. From the test results of the first two tubes, a third generation electron beam duplexer will then be designed and its construction initiated. (Author)
