REPORT ON GERMAN NOUN CODING,
Abstract
This paper presents some of the programmatic details of descriptive research in German at the Linguistics Research Center of The University of Texas. The first section discusses the basis of classifying nouns from our principal source. The second section presents an outline of early procedures which were followed in describing the internal morphology of nouns. The third section discusses data formats for recording lexical equivalents in translation. (Author)
