A PRODUCT ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES TO INCREASE THE RELIABILITY FOR DIFFUSED SILICON CONTROLLED SWITCHES TYPES 2N689

Abstract

This report of a Production Engineering Measure (PEM) for the improvement of production techniques to increase the reliability of a diffused silicon controlled switch, of the 2N689 type, covers the work performed on an alldiffused rectifier subassembly, the device package, reliability testing equipment, and the materials complying with pre-established parameters. A PERT analysis depicts the progress of this program and provides certain conclusions on the work performed.
