REVIEW OF GOVERNMENT SPONSORED RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE HIGH TEMPERATURE COATINGS FIELD,

Abstract

The amount of information related to government sponsorship in the coating field is mountainous and connot be reviewed here in its entirety; all that can be said is that every project on metals, ceramics, plastics, or testing of materials is related and of value to the scientists and engineers doing coating research and development. In this review, only the more recent government sponsored high temperature coating work will be covered, giving the name of the organization and the type of work being performed. (Author)
