PHASE-LOCK DEMODULATION OF SINUSOIDAL FM,
Abstract
Phase-Lock demodulation of an FM signal, where the modulating function is a sinusoid, is treated as a problem in tracking a sweeping carrier. An expression is obtained for the maximum output signal to noise ratio versus the input signal to noise density ratio in an information bandwidth under conditions of a solid loop lock. A similiar expression is derived for threshold conditions. (Author)
