PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT MODEL 385 AIR REFUELING STORE.

Abstract

Further evaluation testing of the Model 385 Air Refueling Store has been accomplished during this reporting period. This testing consisted of ground fuel transfers from the F4B tanker to A4C and F4B receivers, utilizing the prototype store fuel system. Refueling rates were 200 GPM with the A4C and 250 GPM with the F4B receiver. Design studies are in process toward manufacture of additional flight test articles. (Author)
