CLIMATOLOGICAL WIND DATA FOR THIRTY-EIGHT EURASIAN STATIONS,

Abstract

Seasonal climatological wind data for 38 Eurasian stations, together with monthly climatological wind data for 3 of the 35 stations, are presented. Tabulations of means, standard deviations, and correlation coefficients by pressure levels from surface to 100 millibars are given. These tabulations are based on statistical data obtained from observations extending over approximately five years in the period September, 1956 to May, 1962. For purposes of description, graphical presentations of typical data are given for selected cases. (Author)
