SENSOR ANALYSIS PROGRAM DOCUMENT,

Abstract

Two sets of computer programs are presented, coded for the Philco 2000 and developed to determine a sensor's observational accuracy. The first set, the Residual Generator Programs, will compute residuals from past observations by a sensor. The Residual Processor Programs the second set, use these residuals to express the standard deviations in the observed quantities as functions of the observation parameters. This information will then be used as operational weighting data to be applied to sensor inputs to weighted differential correction programs. (Author)
