STRATEGY FOR A TWO-WAY FEED-BACK COMMUNICATION SYSTEM,

Abstract

A two-way feedback communications system with information repeats is described with particular reference to continuous sequential decoding of the type orginated by Wozencraft and extended by Fano. A tutorial exposition of round trip time considerations is followed by an outline of the logic and equipment design required for full implementation. The final portion is devoted to several examples of the operation of such a system. (Author)
