PLASTIC DEFORMATION OF ORIENTED GOLD CRYSTALS,

Abstract

Gold single crystals of five different orientations were tested in tension at room temperature. The results were qualitatively similar to the observations in aluminum and silver, except for the < 100 > orientation. (Author)
