RESEARCH ON ONE MILLIMETER C.W. CARCINOTRON.
Abstract
Research was continued on the development and construction of a O-type carcinotron with the following electrical requirements: center frequency of 300 KMc/s; bandwidth of 5 to 10%; power output of 1 Watt c.w.; high voltage of 10kV (max); efficiency of 0.5%; and focusing by electromagnet. Two new tubes COE 10-1 (D) No 9 and No 10 with insulated collector construction were tested. Improvements were made on electron guns having beam diameters of 0.12mm and 0.10mm. (Author)
