PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE TO INCREASE THE RELIABILITY OF THE TRANSISTOR TYPE 2N2034.
Abstract
Efforts concern the establishment of a PEM to improve the production techniques in order to increase the reliability of Silicon Transistor Type 2N2034. In the area of process improve ment, significant progress was made in wafer cleaning, mesa delineation and scribing. A control lot of 130 units was obtained from the regular manufacturing line. A detailed discussion on work performed is reported. The units from one control lot manufactured by the standard production line and two lots made in TASK 1D were subjected to tests and the data was analyzed. (Author)
