MILLIMETER WAVE TRANSITIONS FOR FREQUENCY CONTROL.

Abstract

Calibration measurements on the efficiency of various hot wire detectors have been made using CsF and the results are tabulated. Initial design work has been started on an electron bombardment ionization detector and some general problems are discussed. Additional work on the rotational states of the asymmetric tops in the small crossed electric and magnetic fields is included. In particular the detailed spectrum associated with the J = 0 to J = 1 transition in SO2 has been calculated. (Author)
