CONTRACTORS DETAILED ANALYSIS REPORT.

Abstract

The major problem areas, which are identified through a systematic study and analysis of the program deficiencies recorded within the PSTE Program EAM Data system, are presented. The problem areas are described, their impact forecast and current status and recommendations presented. It is intended that these identified PSS problem areas will magnify the individually reported deficiencies and accelerate their resolution. They should also serve to historically provide cues to future weapon system potential problem areas. The 'Problem Numbers' assigned to problem areas through 15 October 1963; (1) Inadequate illumination, (2) Workstand deficiencies (3) Tool deficiencies, (4) Supervisory problems, and all subsequently identified problem areas, will be maintained throughout the program for reference purposes. The information presented in this revision includes data received from the initiation of the program through 15 November 1963. The four major problem areas identified within previous CDAR's continued to be active, as 29 related ISF's were received during this reporting period. In addition, a fifth major problem area, Training Problems (Safety), has been identified and will be presented within the discussion of problem areas. It is anticipated that other new major problem areas will be sufficiently patterned to warrant reporting in the near future. (Author)
