PEM FOR PRODUCTION OF FLUORINATED BARIUM TITANATE CAPACITORS FOR OPERATION TO 200 C.

Abstract

Capacitor construction, utilizing a high tem perature solder and tinned copper leads, has given increased lead strength over previous con struction techniques. A new encapsulant, em bodying a system of silicone resins and zirconium silicate filler, has been developed, which ful fills the lead strength requirement and which has passed all environmental tests asorth in SCS37. This newly developed encapsulant can withstand a five pound pull test on the CK63 style. (Author)
