FLUID TIMER FOR ORDNANCE APPLICATIONS.

Abstract

A fluid timer demonstrator is described which uses fluid amplifiers for operation and thus has no moving parts. Activity during the first quarter has been on determining the optimum matching of an amplifier element to a binary counter ele ment. The work also included the testing of a fluid amplifier oscillator over a temperature range of -65 to 165F to determine its temperature sensitivity. The oscillator frequency was approximately proportional to the square root of temperature. (Author)
